What was the defining moment when you decided to pursue music as a career?
When I wrote my first song with lyrics and guitar at eight years old I decided to pursue music and entertainment as a career.
What was a turning point in your career?
Experiencing the TAC undergrad program changed my life. It unlocked multiple pathways to music careers and gave me the tools and connections that I needed to level up my creativity and presence.

Biography
Kat Night aka 009 Night is a composer, music producer, sound designer, and dj whose audio artistry embodies a dangerous arsenal of creative and technical experience.
Known for her captivating vocal aesthetics, which blend rich tones and emotive expression, she harnesses the power of programmed controllers as an extension of her creativity, allowing her to manipulate sound and rhythm in innovative ways by creating a dynamic interplay between voice and electronics. This fusion enhances the emotional depth of her performances and redefines the boundaries of music-making, inviting audiences into a unique sonic landscape where human expression meets digital precision.
Night is a Founder and Member of F9 Studio, a multimedia company, where she is an electronic music producer and performing artist under the name 009 for F9, and she dj’s as 009, creates music and sound for Games and Film & TV, and where she creates multimedia content for Panda ‘N’ Pickles.
She is a member of the Recording Academy, BMI, The Society of Composers & Lyricists, the Alliance for Women Film Composers, and the Game Audio Network Guild. She is affiliated with the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, and the Wattis Scholarship Fund.
